The L2 continues via Beusrior.

Been on a short trip to Aronar

I needed a break and went on a short trip to Aronar. Nice area! I stayed in a small town in the middle of the jungle. I took a photo of it for you from a nearby hill. Check it out! Pretty, isn't it? The casino was OK too, but I didn't win much.
One day I went on a photo safari to see the famous local goats. You could have booked a hunt, but that's not really my thing. When we met one, I had a really bad feeling. The guide assured me that the animals are quite peaceful and won't hurt you if you don't provoke them. But who knows for sure? And they certainly didn't get the "deadly" label just for fun. At least I got a few nice photos. And one with me in it, which my guide took as a souvenir for me.

Rough Guide

The Rough Guide to the Ooniverse also has an entry on Aronar.

The Jungle world of Aronar. The most dangerous passage on the Spaceway L1 to Lerelace. The landscape is dominated by a jungle covered supercontinent. Deep in the woods the Aronar Deadly Goat has its habitat. They are deadly because of their size. 2 times as large as normal goats. Every village on Aronar houses a local Hoopy Casino. Gambling is a religion on Aronar. Every citizen of Aronar gambles before dinner

The Traders Almanach

If every Credit counts, try this: When you are going to move memory chips, sell them in Isinor, which give you about 34 to 43% in Isinor, or in Ontiat, which give you less. Moreover, you could also move Aronarian bacons to Isence or Qutiri. Being a kind of crossroads system for the spaceways L1 and L2, Aronar is a very busy system. The local feudal government therefor installed a lot of hoopy casinos to finance its need for luxuries.

In Service to the Margravine

I don't think I need to tell you that Ishmael Dark is not my real name. I don't think I'd have gotten very far growing up if it was - for a young working-class boy from Lave it's a pretty silly-sounding moniker.

In the right circles however, it is a good name - the kind of name one would expect of the dark, romantic stranger in the room; the dangerously elegant outsider courtiers tell wild tales about, and court Ladies whisper about behind their fluttering fans. That was exactly what the man who had given me the name had planned, and for that, I have to thank him.

In fact, I have much to thank him for. The man who named me was the one who found me, brought me into the folds of the Feudal Families. He trained me, coached me, guided me. He gave me what I'd always craved: wealth, power and women. He gave me the ability to insinuate myself into court, to maneuver the politics with a daring smile, and taught me, Pygmalion-fashion, to live this life with grace and style. He gave me everything, in fact - everything I am today. And one day, I pray, I will be able to pay him back in the best way I know how.

One day, I swear I'll pay the bastard back with an eight-hundred megawatt laser cannon right through his ship's cockpit canopy.
