Overview
Fast and with great maneuverability this fighter is based on the design of the TIE-Fighter. As part of Benulobiweed Inc. second TIE-line this ship was manufactured in the workshops of the company and offered on the open market. Due to the small size, no Shield Boosters or Military Shield Enhancement could be attached. The primary armament is a pair of Beam Lasers at the front and an E.C.M. System. The absence of a hyperdrive renders the fighter totally dependent on a base, carrier, or a mothership. Ships like the Imperial Star Destroyer and the Lambda Liner T5-M02 are using TIE/F03 on their decks.

Remarks
The fighter's engines are incompatible with a Galactic Hyperdrive. After you start the engines (usually when leaving a station) the hyperdrive will become damaged and later explode.
Known Issues
These textures were designed for V 1.88; the latest Oolite V 1.90 is using a much brighter light model and therefore rendering the appearance of the ships. If you prefer the previous light here is a tip from another_commander: modifying shaders
