Gelaed is a member of The Royal Houses of Santaari. The nobility of Gelaed is of french descent.
The five-parted flower (crimson cheop) of the French Aristocracy obviously stands for the five-fold partition into Barons, Viscounts, Counts, Marquises & Dukes. Also, the five-fold partition of Gelaedian society into the Royalty, Nobility, Clergy, Bourgeoisie & Peasantry.
Note that on Gelaed all princes are royal.
The three bands stand for the establishment of innocent purity amidst the bloody struggles in the heavens and on earth.

| If there is not much room left in your ship, this is my advice to you: Best would be to buy memory chips or Gelaedian musical instruments and haul them to Usatqura, Raale, or Aanbiat. And each ton of the memory chips returns a plus of 22 Credits for you on that trip (I found that information in a pirate's logbook around Mariar). Furthermore, the memory chips can also be sold well enough in Xeaqu or Sotiera. Of lately, there have been piracy reports from Raale, Xeaqu, and Sotiera. The pink Gelaedian So weed is consumed by the local nobility in great quantities. In fact, the system is actually gouverned by a handful of 'advisors', bureaucrats that do not consume the weed. |

The Galaedean Gavotte
The gracious and gleeful Galaedean Gavotte: On the third beat, one raises ones head to larboard, and holding one's lady gently by the waist, leads her with great delicacy and determination into a widdershins weave of some 13 steps, whilst wandering westwards with great aplomb.
