Aona is also known for Aonatech, an entertainment corporation which creates fantastic ship- and home-entertainment systems. The A-Box is now the best-selling cockpit gaming system, pre-installed with the holographic game 'Evil Trumble V'. Aona itself is a member of the Iron Stars trading federation. This a club of industrial high-tech planets in the south of Galaxy 1. (Famous Planets OXP)

The Dark Wheel
| The Moray was a rare ship indeed to see in space, especially about to undertake a hyperspace transit. On worlds like Regiti and Aona, where the only land was the tips of volcanoes, rising above the oceans, the Moray was both freighter and public transport, a vital ship-link between the undersea cities that were developing in such hostile environments.

Note that this description does not exactly fit with the Vanilla game look, the Povray Planets retexture of Aona, nor with the Stranger's World retexture (all of which seem to have rather too much land).

Aona is a member of The Iron Stars region.
The Traders Almanach
| If the limiting factor is the size of the cargo bay, you've got to get the best gain per unit, so buy Aonatech A-Boxes or luxuries and ship them to Biramabi. I'd say those Aonatech A-Boxes I mentioned are a good choice, naturally, and will probably sell with a profit of 33 Credits for each and every ton you ship. Furthermore, those Aonatech A-Boxes I mentioned can also be sold well enough in Qucerere. Look out for contracts of quantity shipments of computers from the Aonatech company in this system.
