Average prices are based on long-term established averages (the so-called arithmetic mean). The average quantity is based only on quantity values greater zero. Availability gives a percentage whether a good is available in this system. Please note that these are statistical data. GalCop regulations expressively forbids the broadcasting of actual prices beyond the current system. |

Tianve
Adds scenery, including a pulsar, to the Galaxy 1 system of Tianve. A Station orbits the pulsar and fleets of pleasure liners can be seen taking tourists on flights around the pulsar. There are various adverts in the system, along with two extra 'space lanes', one between the planet and the pulsar and another between the pulsar and the witchpoint. (No Wiki page given)
Tianve Pulsar
Tianve is most noted for its famous pulsar, the top tourist attraction in the North East quadrant. Visiting by an official liner is recommended, but rental vessels are available as a cheaper option. Zero-Gee Cricket is banned on Tianve at the request of the native feline population. Tianve is also home to the Elite Combateer 'Rebecca Weston', and details on Tianve's most famous resident can be found in the Tionisla Chronicle publications - 'Status Quo' and 'Mutabilis'. Fiction
Status Quo
Status Quo is a novella by Drew Wagar. The author names Tianve as the birth system of the famous elite combateer Rebecca Weston.
They were docked at Tianve, a high-tech, touristy system, in the far north-east quadrant of galactic sector one. All the tourism was due to the fact that Tianve played host to the only known pulsar in accessible system space, other than that there wasn’t much else to remark on. Like many locals, Reet had never actually visited his home planet’s most famous sight. |
(Status Quo, Chapter 2) |
Mutabilis
Mutabilis is a sequel to Status Quo. In the prologue, Drew Wagar claims that Tianve is home to an Unofficial Galcop Conspiracy Theory Archive:
As legends go, Raxxla is one of the least well supported myths on record; no memrecs, no visios, not even a remotely plausible artefact of any kind. The only thing it has going for it is a vague similarity in the stories and that anybody who goes looking for it never comes back in one piece, physically or mentally – hardly convincing proof. Ask yourself how an entire planet can remain hidden for centuries. |

Rough Guide
The Rough Guide to the Ooniverse has an entry on Tianve.
The pulsar of Tianve is known throughout the 8 Galaxies. It is said that the radiation of the pulsar colored the skin of the feline population of the planet. The inhabitants are therefore also known under the name: pulsar cats. The strong radiation from both the normal Tianve star and the pulsar forces the inhabitants to be cautious when going outside although the pulsar cats have developed special skin DNA that can resist radiation for a much longer time.
Tourists that make the trip down to the surface are handed special suits and anti-radiation capsules. However after they've taken the necessary precautions they often are stunned by the beauty. The atmosphere colors the landscape in an eerie but beautiful blue. |

The Traders Almanach
If the limiting factor is the size of the cargo bay, you've got to get the best gain per unit: You can't do anything wrong with buying memory banks here. You've got the choice to move them to Teanrebi each ton for a decent profit of 39.0 creds, with Alaza being the second choice in destinations and Beraanxe, Celabile, or Edreor last. Have your radiation shields checked and serviced before you make a gravity well run around the Tianve pulsar. I once knew a guy who happened to have a malfuntioning shield transmitter and got basically fried during the sightseeing trip. |
