Plagiarism HUD
From Elite Wiki
Overview
Combines features of Trek HUD, an older MilSpec HUD OXP and Killer Wolf's Dynamic HUD.
Also called "Yet Another Hud" and "Plagiarist HUD"
Note this has been written for a 1680 x 1050 screen, it won't display so well on a normal 4:3 ratio monitor
- Dynamic HUD, changing depending on the alert conditions
- This is a mode-switching HUD, displaying HUD "modes" depending on condition.
- MODES:
- Docked: All instruments disabled when docked
- Green: All military functions off, crosshairs etc dimmed and green to display as much screen real estate as possible
- Yellow: Similar to Green except the crosshairs turn yellow and are slightly less dimmed and a targeting box is added. "Brightened up" circle around the cross-hairs
- Red: Full military spec HUD with Shields and Weapon Temperature indicators in easy view.
- Critical: Energy low, display turns red and will occasionally glitch as befits such a perilous state.
- Electrical damage sound for critical condition
- TAF Reset
The TAF Reset OXP isn't needed with this, it's functions are built-in. The TAF reset function kicks in when docked, Witching to a new system, and when in Condition Red. Unless you use time acceleration, you won't notice.
