Cargo containers are somewhat of a paradox. They need to be sturdy enough to withstand the vacuum of space and being jostled around in the cargo hold, but they can't be so strong that they are worth more than the cargo. Therefore, they are made of a semi-soft alloy that is flexible, but weak. This unfortunately allows rodents the possibility of chewing through the case and feasting on what is inside.

Each container is roughly three times the size of a modern container.

Cargo as a companion

The symptoms most commonly found during research by the Galactic Co-operative of Worlds, are, superstition, perceiving inanimate objects as alive, and hallucinations.
