Overview
The Navy Transport (or Tender) is the logistical centerpiece of the Galactic Navy, transferring men and materials across all eight galaxies. Whether operating in a convoy or as part of a carrier group the Navy Transport is an indispensable part of any fleet. Each transport began as an ordinary anaconda trader. Before being commissioned into military service every ship is extensively re-fitted with the latest navy hardware and software. The final product is a model of military efficiency.
Notable Features
The most visible feature of any Navy Transport would be its four side mounted plasma turrets, but the truly notable changes lie under the armor plated hull. The re-fitted transports have half the cargo space of a traditional anaconda but twice the speed allowing them to keep pace with faster navy ships. The remaining 400 tons of cargo capacity is highly modular and can carry anything from fuel and ammunition to troops and vehicles. These features make the Navy Transport one the most important ships in the Galactic Fleet.
