Some OXPs can put systems into quarantine.
Overview
Outbreaks of plague can cause GalCop or the system itself to place the system into Quarantine.
The OXPs known to describe/enable this are GNN, GalCop Missions and Rescue Stations/RSS.
The information can also be independently broadcast by the GalCop Missions and RSS through GNN - and also be placed on the F7 screen (data on "system").
There can also be viewscreen messages with this information. Eg.: Warning. Isanlequian disease infection rates are high. Please remain within designated visitor areas.
Entry to such a system can result in criminalisation.
Terminology
- The Galactic Centre for Disease Control is created by GalCop Missions
- GalMed is created by Rescue Stations
Note
Phkb's April 2026 version of GalCop Missions enhances all the various OXPs which impact on "Quarantine" and creates a logical relationship between them all.
