Overview

A Fuel Silo is dispatched

An unlikely sighting in poor and hazardous systems, this large mass of metal that is the Woma Fuel Transport Service moves a great deal of Quirium between systems of commerce, keeping stations in constant supply. Completing this task is usually done at notoriously slow pace as these are some of the most sluggish movers in populated space, and Woma pilots do not get paid by the hour.

Security

As pirates consider them an awkward beast, providing for Woma protection has been something of a dilemma for FuelCorp. Since they will never be found transporting anything of value other than the two silos containing fuel, which may only be accessed with the appropriate, exclusive machinery, it is practically a rule among pirates to ignore them.

Considering this they are surprisingly often prone to vicious and futile, fatal attacks. This is presumably carried out by vandals who do it just to see a big explosion. Any other motive is hard to imagine.

Having counted the costs of years of indecision, FuelCorp has recently swallowed the bitter pill, and has upped the level of protection with a fleet of dedicated Sidewinder escorts.
