Planet Rotation Cosmetics OXP

...the new Planet Rotation Cosmetics OXP works like a charm... (Bicornis, 2025)

Overview

This OXP aims to reduce the issues of scale when the player approaches the surface of a planet. Without this OXP, the planet would continue to rotate beneath the player, highlighting issues of scale present in the game.

To combat this, what this OXP does is to slowly reduce the rotational speed of the planet being approached, so that by the time the player is around 1km above the surface, the rotation will have stopped completely. As the player leaves the planet, the rotation will slowly return to it's original setting.
