For an author of Wagar's undoubted gifts, it surely wouldn't have been too much of a chore to invent new ones (I mean 'Daddyhoggy' for a birdoid... come ''on''!). Just an observation (in general about Wagar's 'tetralogy'), I believe it may be a little misleading to group Altera - a rather short short story - in with his novels/novellas. I was certainly a tad disconcerted and frankly disappointed by its all-too-brief content after following the download link from the Wiki. Reval (talk) 11:07, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
