Description

There is a 0.5 second delay after launch before a core missile ignites its rocket. This can be problematic. Regardless of the initial received velocity from the firing ship, the game assumes in the first half second that the missile would like to stop, and so causes the thrust to drop to zero as soon as possible. This causes the missile to be left behind in the case of a moving Cobra3 where there is enough space below the missile pylon for this to happen. It also causes the fired missile to hit a firing Python where there is not.

Missile Booster OXP prevents these initial collisions by boosting the launch speed of fired missiles, even at injector speeds!
