This set-up for your ship's lasers is popular with many pilots and often considered to be 'The Traditionalist's Choice'. Less power is accessed than with the UBER laser coupler option but many wise old pilots consider this the only rig they'd ever use (prevents the 'uber' category of lasers, and these options, from appearing).
