Communications Pack A
Communications Pack A adds a range of communications messages to the NPCs using the new communications routines. 19 different NPC personalities are included so far, each with a range of messages for different situations. Don't forget to set your ship and commander name while docked at a station, so that they can talk to you using them - Random Ship Names is recommended to add NPC names.

Download via the Addons manager or directly at Comms Pack A 0.5. It requires Oolite 1.79 or later.
For OXP developers
Communications Pack A is licensed very freely, and extensively commented inside. It is intended for adaptation and copying of the framework for other authors to make Communications Packs B, C, D, etc. with different personalities and speech patterns. Please ask if you have any questions about how to do this.
