The Elite community is one that has been a rich breeding ground for fictional articles, mainly because both the classic Elite universe and the later Frontier (Elite 2 and First Encounters) universe is open ended and lends itself to many possibilities. Many fictional characters exist in this universe. This category lists all the articles about fictional [[characters]], [[events]] and [[locations]] in any of the games. Articles in this category may also appear in finer-grained categories (such as FFE, for Frontier: First Encounters related information, or Oolite for fiction relevant to that particular game).

The default date for fiction articles is 3300 + this year (i.e. for 2006, 3306) unless the category the article is in differs (for example, FE2 articles will occur in the Frontier: Elite 2 [[timeline]], and Classic and Oolite articles will be in their own timelines).
