Overview
This is a fantastic re-imagining of the Anaconda freighter, made by Ramon, with assistance by Griff. Check out its special features!
A detail that might not be obvious: those trapezoid shapes lined up on the sides of the hull are escape pods! I think Ramon's plan was to have them eject when the ship was about to explode (Griff, 2025)
Special Features
Like the Dark Wheel Cobra, you'll be able to blow bits off - like the cargo bay door.
Also you can select a Cargo Bay View (it's just for show though, the amount of cargo doesn't change). I wanted to point the camera the other way to try to replicate the image of the Anaconda cargo bay in the old Elite instruction manual.
Take a look at Ramon's Anaconda, where there is a camera viewpoint inside the cargo bay. I've flown this ship, and deliberately encouraged pirates to blast the cargo bay door off, after which you can see the interior of the ship and the view outside of the pirates chasing you. Wildeblood (2011)
Ah man, an important oxp - the first one to start re-imagining the core shipset for today's Oolite I think, knocked us all for six when Ramon posted those gifs and artwork. Griff (2025)

I'm not sure if it's Ramon's original upload or not, seems to have some early shader stuff in it which I'm not sure the original had? The original model and textures seem to be there though so the shader stuff could be taken out. I found the zip in a folder called "oxp's that need fixing/hosted by Ramon", so not sure what's broken in it, there's no info.txt file or anything with it I'm afraid. (Griff, 2025)
