Overview
The insectoid Oresrians are reknowned for thier physical similarity to the feared Thargoid race. These similarities are shared with the ships of the two races, which have some design features in common. This unfortunate similarity has lead to several well-publicised 'friendly-fire' incidents involving twitchy-fingered young Jamesons opening up on Oresrian ships before properly establishing their true identities.
Although slower and less heavily armed than a Thargoid Invasion Ship, the Oresrian Trader is roughly the same size and is a dedicated tradeship rather than a combat vessel.
In recent times many of these ships have become available on the second-hand market, showing a relaxing of the traditional Oresrian reluctance to trade technology.
