RL - Radical Logistics

Yasen-N2 (from Radical Logistics)

This small ship-design workshop Radical Logistics was once located on Rea in Galaxy 3/(192,146). Most of the design blueprints which Radical Logistics used had come from old military ships. They wanted to redesign the old carriers, gunships and bombers that were used in the Sidewinder Revolt event for the civilian market.

Two ships were in production (Yasen-N2 & the Skat) and one was planned (the Lira) when Mickey Moriaty, the head designer left for other projects and never managed to finish them. But the one thing that was finished were the new buyable/sellable Yasen-N turret. The basic model (TL7) was developed here at Rea, and the more advanced models after Amah took over the company and moved production elsewhere (Ceesxe in Galaxy 1?).

The Yasen-N are outdated military ships once supporting infantry in the Sidewinder-Revolt incident. It was refurbished and redesigned for civilian use as sturdy trading/hunting vessels by Radical Logistics. It's a rare ship, some of them were also captured and are now used by pirates and renegades.

There's basically two versions: The normal Yasen-N for the peaceful trader who just needs an agile ship with a decent cargo hold and the Yasen-N-Advanced for those who need some tricks up their sleeve when dealing with the bugs or the scum of the galaxy... err... people for whom GALcop enforced law is just a curious concept.

By default the Advanced is only available with a bottom-rear turret for rear defense. If you have ship respray installed the setup can be changed for a small fee to front and top-rear as well, thanks to the modular design coming from the military background.
