The posix installer is using an ancient version of https://makeself.io/

The makeself script can be found at https://github.com/OoliteProject/oolite/blob/master/installers/posix/makeself.sh

The autopackage installer (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autopackage) no longer exists.
