FE Shipyards

Over the years, FE Shipyards has been in receipt of much correspondence from otherwise satisfied shipowners regarding the dearth of pylons, in the case particularly of smaller craft such as the Gecko, Sidewinder, Krait, and Mamba, which are still leaving our production lines without them.

Ever anxious to respond to the needs of our regular and valued customers, we are delighted to be able to announce that most of our shipyards are now in a position to install an Auxiliary Pylon onto any vessel, whatever its class.

Our auxiliary pylons are designed expressly to enable the attachment of special cargo pods in the 10-50 TC range. Pods for the auxiliary pylon are identical in form and size to our already popular Goods Container "cannister variant", complete with downworld frame adaptor for compatibility with land transport vehicles. The two variants - Pod and Cannister - differ only in their attachment mechanics and the type of pylon - regular or auxiliary - for which their fitting is destined.

Time and Cost

While FE Shipyards endeavours, whenever possible, to reduce costs to you, our valued customer, we are unable to offer this particular complex modification of your vessel's hull for less than 15,000 cr.

The addition of an auxiliary pylon will take, generally, just under 2 days.

Our special cargo pods will become buyable in all sizes via your ship's Equipment interface once the auxiliary pylon has been intalled.
