ADCK's Behemoths

Based on the original behemoths.oxp by Aegidian Concept and Idea: ADCK, New textures and models: ADCK Type 1 & 2 models based on models by: Aegidian Viper & Asp models: from neolites by Simon B Shader files: from neolites by Simon B (Includes shaders which require Oolite 1.69 or later)

Description

Adds Navy Behemoths to the game, including:

  • Two versions of Aegidians "Type 1" Behemoth, remodelled slightly.
  • Two versions of Aegidians "Type 2" Behemoth, remodelled slightly.
  • Two versions of ADCK's "Type 3" Behemoth.
  • Two versions of ADCK's "Type 4" Behemoth.
  • A new viper and asp defense ships using Simon B's models from neolites, retextured with a navy look.
  • Over 90 "named" behemoths, all with their own nameplates.

This version adds behemoths to Thargoid Witchspace battles, and on rare occasions patrolling GalCop space-lanes.

Future Plans

  • 1.2 Thargoids Patch.

By this point the Galactic Navy will be way overpowered, and I'll have to even the sides a little. Mostly only in the planning phase at the moment, but I do have a retextured version of the Thargoid Carrier and several Neolite Thargoid retextures I'd like to use here. Will probably be something along the lines of Second Wave.oxp and Thargorn Threat.oxp.

  • 1.3. Content/Bugfix Patch?

Adding things I havn't thought of yet, fixing things I've broken, etc. Time will tell. This is where I'd start looking to expand the OXP to include suggestions/requests.

  • 1.4. Final Release.
