(1) How old was Damon Winston during the events of "The Virtuous Misfortune" (2006)?

(2) Also, was there ever any relationship in your mind, when writing "The Virtuous Misfortune", between Kim, the Virtuous' engineer, and the mother of Rif Hood of "Imprint" fame, the 1991 PC "Elite Plus" novella?

Imprint (1991) p. i10:
