I think some Frontier or FFE might have gotten mixed in here! The timeline for Elite sort of bifurcates at some point - FE:2 and FFE aren't entirely consistent with classic Elite (and by extension Oolite) - for example, in classic Elite/Oolite, the Fer de Lance isn't really that powerful compared to some other ships (certainly not enough to get outlawed). Perhaps in an extended timeline ZPG updated the Fer de Lance to something more gruesome than the Rattle Cutter, but this would have happened after Oolite's time. (Just a thought: there's no harm in having two versions of this article - one Faulcon de Lacy (Classic) and a Faulcon de Lacy (Frontier), linked to the appropriate categories. Cleaned it up a little, added more information, and reworded alot of it. And clarified some points, for example the Fer-de-Lance wasn't outlawed in FFE/FE2 because of overpoweredness, but because it was being mainly used for piracy. Also split it into 2 sections to show the timeline divergance between Classic/Oolite and FFE/Fe2. [[User:ADCK|ADCK]] 11:37, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

ADCK 11:37, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Also, I'd like to see a source on some of the stuff written here,
for exampmle, the original article claims they purchased:
Prossett and Salem (and with it the rights to the cobra 1),
Cowell & MgRath (and with it the rights to the cobra 2 and 3),
Zorgon Petterson Group (and with it the rights to the fer-de-lance)
which i can not find any siurce for. ADCK 12:26, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
