Queries: Samuel Schilierenzauer vs Schlierenzauer and Uli Schlierenzauer

Is Uli a cousin of Samuel - hence the name change and the missing "i"?

I am not familiar with the Schilierenzauers (can a typo have occurred?) but Schlirenzauers are descendants of Gregor Schlierenzauer whom I followed at the time (though in my version the sly fox was more of a cross between Dietrich Mateschitz and Reinhold Messner). Uli (naturally after Uli Stielike) recently lent his name to Uli Gestirner (Germ: stars) though with my inadequate German I wrote the typo Gestimmer (Germ: musical tuning device).
