Overview

GenFun, the self-styled contraction of General Fungal & Unicellular Novelties, PLC, is a multiplanetary biotechnology and toy manufacturing corporation with substantial influence in the GalCop structure and numerous planetary governments of significance, from their headquarters located in the Ceesxe system. They are widely known for their pan-galactic top-selling product, the Trumble™.

Under the temporary leadership of celebrity geneticist Dr. Rip Purefoy, the company had its most heightened period of public exposure. During the build-up to the launch of the first batch of Trumbles that were deemed fit for public contact, Dr. Purefoy's lab Vid-Band broadcasts had a massive viewership, and were considered a large factor in the product's eventual colossal sales. While many considered the "Sculpting Life with Dr.Rip" to be genius children's VB, those privy to GenFun inside information reveal that there are reasons of greater importance than entertainment value to the "sculpting" angle, rooted in the legal loopholes that it provides.

Of primary importance to GenFun, the documented spawning of Trumbles from amoebic condition sealed their corporate ownership of the sentient animal that it would become, void of the protections and rights otherwise granted organisms under the GalCop charter. As the "bio-active carpet samples" that Trumbles essentially are, GenFun may bypass all regular quarantine regulations and laws of humanity.
