The simply shaped Skink is an infrequent ship sighting, and one that comes with certain evident associations. Commissioned and custom built by Saud-Kruger for OculusCorp, the organisation behind the All-Seeing Eye cult, the employ of this ship is always certainly in the service of their cause.

The All-Seeing Eye cult emblem.

Overview

The All-Seeing Eye cult is the public face and profile of the Skink. Roaming space unarmed while broadcasting sectarian dogma, the "Oglers" are regarded by many as ridiculous practitioners of an unsavoury fanatical sect, but this is a calculated, meticulously crafted image.

A Skink in transit, either broadcasting ASE propaganda, or possibly something else.

Functions

The requirements for a ship which function is simply mobility to spread propaganda aren't too demanding, and for this purpose the Skink is over-equipped. With irritatingly good agility, greater speed, energy regeneration and shielding than strictly necessary, these attributes are afforded due to the ship's dual purpose. While OculusCorp's complete scope of holdings and interests is unknown, it is known that their reach of influence involves banking, curating of sensitive information and manipulation of political power within GalCop. It is a safe assumption that moving among the ludicrous pedlers of All-Seeing Eye propaganda, are agents with a more sinister and speculative agenda.

Notable features

Within the modest frame of the Skink, a considerable portion of the volume is allowed for hull thickness of high density. The Skink is built like a safe. What remains of capacity not dedicated to the ships engine and energy regeneration is a minimal cargo holding capable of storing mere kilos. Those who aren't fooled by the Skink's silly, unarmed profile, believing that they are more than they appear to be, and are undeterred by the thick armament, are convinced that at some point taking down a Skink will result in a precious prize.
