Overview
Combat-trader craft favored latterly by pirates, the Cobra Mark I was the first trade ship designed and built for the one-man trader. Its special feature at the time of manufacture (by Paynou, Prossett and Salem) was its Prossett Drive, which incorporated afterburners with proton-tightened, interior shaft walls. These are now a standard fitting for both internal and external integuments of all PPS made craft.

Paynou, Prossett and Salem have now ceased Cobra Mk I production. Spare parts are hard to find, and tend to be of dubious quality. Commanders should not be overly worried by the high OffRat and DefRat. Most Mk I pilots are more concerned that their RIF generators will last to the next space station than with killing nosey traders.
