Dragonships
History: When first explorers from other worlds set foot on Anenmaqu (their exact identity is lost in time, but they definetely where of human descent), they where greeted with great hospitality by the jovial insectoids, that still mainly inhabit the planet. And they where astonished about the fevor this otherwise slack people showed when they partook in their favourite past time - the watching of the so called, somewhat clumsily translated*, "dragon races" in low fi "tv". The primitive aircraft, that the Anenmaquese racers used, where of higher quality than all other technology on the planet, but still far from space age technology. But this changed over night. When the unnamed explorers returned to their dismantled, engineless shuttle they realised that they probably shouldn't have left an engine, far more powerful than anything the inhabitants knew beforehand, unguarded. Since then, the ships of Anenmaqu have been retrofitted versions of their racingcraft - the vehicles that almost every ounce of metal was bound in when the Anenmaqu insectoids entered the arena of intergalactic contact.
- (Extra-Etymologists still puzzle about the correct translation, however. It has probably something to do with mating...)
