+ | :You have created a category and not a template. So simply use <nowiki>[[Category:Beacon_OXPs]]</nowiki> to add a page to the category. Linking to the page works in the same manner, prefix the link name with a colon <nowiki>[[:Category:Beacon_OXPs]]</nowiki>. Another way is using templates which are adding things (like the ones we have for ship and stations, etc.) to existing categories. This is explained [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Category]. Can't get this to work, don't know why! Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm trying to use {{Beacon_OXPs}} on the relevant wikis, but I just get a red Category link. JazHaz 08:15, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
- You have created a category and not a template. So simply use [[Category:Beacon_OXPs]] to add a page to the category. Linking to the page works in the same manner, prefix the link name with a colon [[:Category:Beacon_OXPs]]. Another way is using templates which are adding things (like the ones we have for ship and stations, etc.) to existing categories. This is explained [1]. Svengali 15:34, 10 December 2011 (UTC)
