Average prices are based on long-term established averages (the so-called arithmetic mean). The average quantity is based only on quantity values greater zero. Availability gives a percentage whether a good is available in this system. Please note that these are statistical data. GalCop regulations expressively forbids the broadcasting of actual prices beyond the current system.

Veisin is the home of Oodulldoff Inc., manufacturer of the Draven range of ships as well as of the Oodulldorf Station. Ky'fyn Oodulldoff, the current CSO of Oodulldoff Inc., is a very long lived reptilian who trained as a cyber engineer. After a wide ranging career he decided to establish his own company in Galaxy 6. Months spent inhabiting many Seedy bars and listening to the general bar-room gossip, he decided to see if Veisin could provide the sort of base that he intended to try and build. It was and still is an average agricultural planet with almost no redeeming features, except that fairly close by are 2 high-level industrial planets.

So he established a small workshop in Lobbie's Can-Can Lounge on Veisin, initially helping to maintain the Lounges? equipment. Using most of his available cash he purchased a relatively old Cobra Mark III and started to update its avionics to his design. Rumours started to circulate that this ship had some very interesting abilities and it was not long before Ky'fyn started to get some offers that it was difficult to refuse, so he didn't. He slowly built up a lucrative business based on improving ships for some of the bar's customers. Needing more room Ky'fyn was lucky enough to find a deserted rock hermits? asteroid and moved the workshop to it, the extra room enabling him to employ some extra engineers from Radiesar and Ananri, whilst still spending a fair percentage of his time at the lounge in order to continue to attract custom.

This state of affairs continued for several years during which time Ky'fyn managed to ease his way into the planet's various organisations. Being an agricultural anarchy with little heavy industry they usually found the need to bring in repair and construction crews from the industrial planets near by at very high cost, to aid in the planetary disputes. Ky'fyn being based in the Veisin system could always under cut these quotes and soon became the sole supplier for engineering support to the planet.

This slowly enabled him to build and equip a small force to provide local pirate suppression. As the profits mounted the asteroid was slowly disappearing beneath the station construction which was proceeding. Today the only part of the asteroid left is the reception desk. Ky?fyn finally decided that it was time for the next step ? that of starting to build his own versions of various ship types. He started with a trader design that would allow him to use his own transports to ship people, spare parts and materials around the local region, thus reducing costs. This ship design, the Draven Trader, soon began to develop a reputation for resilience and being able to look after itself, which did no harm to the Oodulldoff Inc?s reputation. The Draven Raider was next providing the start to a set of purpose built defense ships for the now sizable station. A fleet of six Raiders and the additional defences of the station proved sufficient to deter most local criminal gangs from attempting to raid the station and those that did attempt a raid just disappeared. The last real raid on the station nearly breached its innermost defences and resulted in the development of the Draven Gunship, a formidable ship with little in the way of anything other than offensive and defensive kit, based largely on the Raider hull design but with additional plasma turrets. It was quickly decided that a number of these new ships would be added to the station?s patrol force. The advent of the Draven Gunship to the stable meant that Oodulldoff Inc. now began to be more visible in the military and security market sectors.

In an attempt to add more market penetration in these sectors the Operation Analysis group were given the task to try and identify any significant discrepancies in the available ship types and to determine whether it would be possible to design and build ships to fill these identified gaps.

The company continues to expand and is currently trying to reduce the anarchy of the planet. It is believed that the company would like the planet to be transformed into a corporate world since this will provide for more expansion and a more stable operating environment.
