If you want to contribute to this project, just go ahead. Everything is open source, no secrets are kept back. Connect to others via the forum. Share information on the wiki. Submit code changes via pull requests.
You do not have to be a programmer. You can help a lot by
- giving feedback: Do you like the application? What could be different?
- reporting bugs: If you experience crashes, report them so we can improve.
- create documentation: If you feel something should be explained better.
- create graphics: If the UI is a bit dodgy
- advertise Oolite to others
