I replaced the old image in the ship stat side bar with a new one of my own creation. Hope everyone likes it.

Currently all ships are shown as rendered in-game, so your picture deviates from the (albeit unwritten) rule...

I like it, though, so I suggest you put it in-text, w/ a caption that has 'artistic rendering' somewhere in the text. (you could come up w/ a little story about a certain expat., people do things like that all the time, as long as the core-nformation stays up, a little -or a lot- artistic prose is always welcome

:I think I agree. all the other ship pics are ''in situ Oolite'', and although it's close, it isn't part of the game documentation that's established to be in that infobox. it's a good suggestion too, to move it into the contents of the article with a witty caption (and weave a story to the Ooniverse). hey it could be a still from a film with a starring Adder. think ''Herbie'' ;) --[[User:Murgh|Murgh]] 17:38, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

::I just fixed it up. You guys are right, poeple would probably want to see the real thing first. Although, pretty much the only difference between the two pictures is some motion blurring and a planet. I could make a picture that looks really in-game, even though it isn't. What do you think? The benefit would be the lack of the HUD getting in the way. -[[User:Haiavaha|Haiavaha]] 21:17, 5 April 2006 (UTC)

Not so sure...

I think I agree. all the other ship pics are in situ Oolite, and although it's close, it isn't part of the game documentation that's established to be in that infobox. it's a good suggestion too, to move it into the contents of the article with a witty caption (and weave a story to the Ooniverse). hey it could be a still from a film with a starring Adder. think Herbie ;) --Murgh 17:38, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
I just fixed it up. You guys are right, poeple would probably want to see the real thing first. Although, pretty much the only difference between the two pictures is some motion blurring and a planet. I could make a picture that looks really in-game, even though it isn't. What do you think? The benefit would be the lack of the HUD getting in the way. -Haiavaha 21:17, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
