		+	Aah, if you have Renegades.oxp installed then a Renegade Krait (or any other Renegade) is much tougher than your standard pirate. Very rare to encounter one outside an anarchy system, but they pack dual or triple Military Lasers in the nose, their ships are blinged out with all the optional equipment, some even have plasma turrets and use q-mines!

		+	I wrote Renegades in response to comments on the boards that bounty hunting was not a viable option (credit wise) to trading. The 13 ships added by Renegades are tough pirates, but you are paid 200 - 3000C bounties for taking them out. A similar additional bounty is paid if you also manage to scoop the Renegade's escape pod and hand him in to GalCop. Be warned though, you have to earn your money! (Wed Dec 13, 2006 12:09 am)

 A new and fearsome prospect for the young 'Jameson' is the emergence of the so-called Renegade Pirates. Where these individuals came from is unknown, but speculation is rife. Some say they are the embittered leaders of pirate bands that have been destroyed by GalCop police Vipers, some say they are combat-maddened initiates of the shadowy [[Powers_and_Organisations#The_Assassins_Guild|Assassin's Guild]], while still more claim them to be undercover agitators from the Empire or Federation trying to stir up dissent in GalCop space.
