Mutabilis

Introduction

This is a short story based on Oolite, sequel to Status Quo, written by Drew Wagar. The characters from Status Quo reprise their roles in a story which promises to be somewhat darker than the original.

It is set in 3140, prior to current Oolite time (Year 3142), but after the events of Elite (Year 3125) and two years after the events of Status Quo (3138). These dates are based on events given in Selezen's excellent hypothetical [1] and based on his interpretation of GalCop history.

The story is about the nature of the mythical planet Raxxla.

Notes

It is unlikely that this Raxxla story will gel with many of the other stories about Raxxla in the Elite/Oolite FanFic area, however, it will not contradict either the Elite Manual or the original Novella 'The Dark Wheel'.
