Overview
To help Galactic Navy repel heavier Thargoid assault forces better, Far Arm shipyards developed a deadlier variant of Standard Missile 1, this extremely deadly missile is dubbed as "Nova". It carries a nuclear tipped warhead with 2.5s time the punch of SM-1. Utilizing the same propulsion, Nova is slightly slower than SM-1.
Enhanced cybernetics package makes Nova missile resistant to ECM, but not totally immune.
Due to increasing Thargoid threat, GalCop has released also these missiles to civilian market.
Nova costs 2000 Cr each, and is available at shipyards of TL 12 and above.

Just like SM-1, due to enhanced protection and new innovative design of its cybernetics package, Nova missile doesn't explode even if an ECM attempt is succesful, it just flies off to a random direction.
